Do you know everything about the circular economy and sustainability and are you not afraid of challenges? Growing Workplace invites you to What The Hackaton at 8 and 9 October, where small teams work for 36 hours on innovative, sustainable solutions.
Our current linear economy respresents an expensive and outdated system: our scarce resources, needed for the products we use, end up in landfills after a very short lifecycle. In the circular economy, however, consumers do not pay for ownership but for the use of the products they need – and will therefore benefit from the availability of products that use less, last longer and that are made to be recycled.
To accelerate the transition to the circular economy and minimize the use of valuable resources, Growing Workplace calls all designers, developers, makers, coders and marketeers to apply for What the Hackaton. During this 30-hour hackaton, you work on innovative concepts, products or services on the subject of building, working, living, consuming or recycling in the circular economy. Growing Workplace offers an exciting opportunity to be challenged: you work together with co-workers, friends or brand new changemakers in an inspiring environment, with good meals and a creative overnight stay. Guided by professional counsellors your team will sketch the pathways to a sustainable future – and might even win one of the available prices. Do you dare to hack? Apply for What The Hackaton at 8 and 9 October!
