Do you sometimes think that societal challenges are hopelessly complex, and are you still committed to make a difference? Do you search for bridges between civil society, government and business? This fall DRIFT, the Transition Academy and entrepreneurial network Impact Hub Amsterdam offer a second edition of Societal Transitions, a 5-day intensive combining critical reflection with applied action learning.
The core content of this masterclass is built around three main themes: 1) Striving for Systemic Impact: Social Entrepreneurship, Social Movements and Beyond; 2) Sustainability Transitions and Transition Management; 3) The Power and Politics of Sustainability Transitions. During the masterclass we will also pay particular attention to paradoxical tensions such as radical vs. mainstream, institutions vs. grassroots initiatives and the challenges of marketisation, bureaucratisation and communitisation.
An updated course description and programme will be published online shortly. If you’re already interested in applying and want to know more you can send us an expression of interest.
